After Kevin helped Jack to get home, the only thing Jack could do was to go to bed.
He couldn’t fell asleep, usually he would start to think about music and glam. But now, after all those things Nick told him, Jack wasn’t able to imagine him and his friends on stage in front of thousands of people when he knew that there is absolutely no chance for Nick staying with him.
But the only trick he knew to work was that. So, he just started to think that Nick left the band, but he, Kevin and Fred become popular and Nick was jealous about it.
“Hello everyone! Before we get popular, thanks to you, of course…” Said Jack in his head.
The audience started to scream.
“Yeah, thank you! Anyway, before we get here where we are now, there were four of us in this group actually… My best friend, at least I thought he was… So, my fake best friend Nick left us… He could be with us but he chose not to. So now we will play one of ours most popular song, Nick always hated it, but you are the proof that the only reason why he hated it was his jealousy.”
The audience started screaming again and sang with Jack.
After the big concert in his head, which was successful, Jack fell asleep and started to dreaming not so pleasant dream.
He was at the airport, but no one could see him. But he saw Nick, Fred and Kevin.
“You can always visit me, my godfather has the best restaurant in L.A., and I will make the best food for you two, when you come.” Said Nick.
“Thank you, Nick. We wish you the best of luck there!” Said Fred.
“Will you come back to New York one day?” Asked Kevin.
“Not until Jack leaves in New York.” Said Nick.
“I’m so jealous now, I wish I can go that far from him!” Said Fred.
Jack was there able to hear everything, but he wasn’t able to say anything. He knew that was just a dream, but he couldn’t wake up.
He stood there invisible for the whole eternity. When he finally woke up he was so depressed.
“Nick will leave New York tomorrow and he will never forgive me.” Said Jack sadly to himself.
He decided to fix things.
First he texted Kevin, yesterday it seemed he is his only true friend.
“Hi! Thanks for bringing me home last night, I am sorry I put you in that kind of situation, it won’t happen again.”
Then Kevin answered him.
“It’s OK, bro! I hope you are better now.”
Then Jack decided to text Fred.
“Hi! Sorry about yesterday.”
And Fred answered.
“Just make sure to not do it again.”
And, finally Jack decided to text Nick. He started to write: “Hi! I am very sorry for yesterday, I wish you the best of luck in L.A. and I hope you will forgive me. I would be more than happy if I could see you before you go.”
But before Jack sent that text, he got the text from Nick.
“I hope we are cool. If you want to see me before I go, you can come with Kevin and Fred tomorrow at the airport, I’m sorry but I can’t meet you before tomorrow.”
And Jack answered.
“Of course I will come, sorry for yesterday. We are cool.”
